Can hair transplant be done in diabetics?

Hair transplant can be done in patients with diabetes but the blood sugar should be well under control and Hb _A1C which denotes the blood sugar control of last 3 months should be within normal limits. One should be very careful in patients with diabetes as this may increase the chance of infection and hence other problem if the diabetes is not controlled or poorly controlled. So, it is advisable not to to in for procedure if the levels of blood sugar are high and last 3 months control is not good. One should also look for status if the electrolytes and kidney functions also.
