How long until FUE grafts are secure?

The hair transplant procedures are basically of two types depending on the method of extraction which are namely FUE and FUT. The method of insertion or implanting the grafts is essentially the same. The grafts generally take around 8-10 days to get secure and fix in the transplanted area provided post-operative precautions are properly followed. The common precautions are not to scratch or rub the transplanted area, avoiding heavy and strenuous exercise in these initial days. Follow the head wash instructions properly. These helps in early healing and thereby helps in increasing the survival of the grafts.
