Male pattern baldness is a very specific term and it should not be used as synonym for every baldness. It is the most common cause of baldness in men and in today’s era it is seen as very common phenomenon. Male pattern baldness is permanent and once the hairs are lost, they don’t grow back. This generally starts in the fronto-temporal region with receding of hair line and/ or shedding in the crown region. To deal with this situation there are many solutions available which may delay the process of hair loss or can stimulate the hair growth or surgical procedures like hair transplant which provide permanent solution to the baldness.
