Tips to go to work after a hair transplant

A hair transplant is a procedure that enhances one’s appearance and so many people like to keep it private. They don’t want others to know they have undergone a cosmetic procedure.

Going to the office is a major concern for patients and the doctor should always counsel regarding the sequence of events after the procedure.

One should know that there will be a bandage on the head for a day or two. After bandage removal, there will be some crusting. During the early post-operative period, one can use a loose-fitting cap or bandana. This will protect the head from sunlight exposure and can also manage to hide the procedure. If this is not possible, then it is better to take off for a week or 10 days. This will also help to conceal any swelling on the forehead too.
