What is the difference between hair transplant reversal and repair?

Hair Transplant reversal and repair are two different things. In hair transplant repair, the surgeon tries to repair or revise the results of a poorly done previous procedure. Common reasons for which this is undertaken are aesthetically poor hairline, transplantation of large grafts giving unpleasant pluggy appearance, wide donor scar, hairs in the wrong direction.

On the other hand, hair transplant reversal is the procedure that the surgeons do to reverse the already done hair transplant as if no hair transplant has been performed. The surgical techniques employed in repair or reversal may be the same but the results to be achieved are different.
