What would be done during the day of the procedure?

This is a common question that what all would happen on the day of the surgery? On the day of the surgery the patient is asked to come to the clinic in the morning taking light breakfast and in comfortable clothes preferably shirt with buttons. At our clinic, we first do the routine checkup like pulse, Blood pressure, temperature etc. Final counselling and paper work including the signing of consent form by the patient is done. We do the trimming of the hair and some hypersensitivity test. Patient is then asked to change into the OT clothes and then the actual procedure starts with the infiltration of the local anesthesia. After the procedure is complete the final checking of the grafts is done and antiseptic dressing and bandage is done. All during the procedure, patient is given juice breaks and a lunch break so that patient is comfortable during the hair transplant.
