It depends on what type of hair styling one wants to keep. If someone wants to keep very short hair then obviously FUE will be procedure of choice. In FUT, as a strip of scalp skin along with hair follicles is removed, so there will always be a linear scar. The experience and skill of surgeon can make the scar fine. At Hair & Senses Dr. Sangay always try to make the scar as fine as possible and practice trichophytic closure so that scar become as less visible as possible. So if there is a scar then it is good that one should not keep short hair. In FUE the advantage is that there is no linear scar as the hair follicles are taken out one by one. So in this there is no problem in keeping short hairs.
