Do beard transplants leave scars?

Beard hair transplant, in other words transplanting the donor hair follicle in the beard area. These donor follicles are taken from scalp region in the same manner as it is done in scalp to scalp hair transplant using either FUE or FUT extraction methods. Generally, FUE is preferred as it leaves almost no scars in the donor area. In the donor area, small tiny dots like scar forms when donor follicles are harvested using FUE technique which fades away significantly over time. The recipient area, that is the beard in initial period one may notice some small dots but when the healing is complete there is no noticeable scar in the beard. If done properly it gives very natural result.
