Does a hair transplant offer instant full hair growth?

A hair transplant does not offer instant full hair growth. To know this, we should understand it is a process. When a hair transplant is done, then after 3-4 weeks, the shaft starts to fall. This is called the shedding phase. This phase may continue till the end of 3 months. From the fourth month onwards the transplanted grafts start to grow and over a period of time, growth and density improve, providing the full result in 10-12 months. So, full hair growth is not an instant phenomenon but it is a process and this full growth manifests in approximately one year.
