What is trichophytic closure?

Trichophytic closure is a way of closing the wound site in the donor area after the strip is harvested in FUT hair transplant. This minimizes the visibility of the linear scar.

At our center Dr. Sangay trims the edges of the linear wound and close them with sutures in such a way that hair directly grows through the scar. This can be done in improving the scar / scar revisions from previous FUT surgery
