Does PRP treatment leaves any scar?

PRP is platelet Rich Plasma and this is injected into the scalp where there is thinning of hairs like in early stages of hair loss. Platelets contain different types of growth factors which helps in stimulating the dormant follicles and also improve the quality of the hair there by improving the hair growth and density.

As with any other injection these sites are also not visible. There may be some redness or numbness as multiple injections are given depending on the size of the area.

So, one does not expect any scarring with the PRP therapy
